“Working in a group is essential to get motivated and share experiences, and transpose ideas from various luxury sectors. There are solo exercises, revisited in Bettina’s own way, and they become more and more impactful and formative. She finds an approach that allows us to open up and evolve.”
“As soon as you become a company director, you have so many hats to wear that you forget your main objective. You forget everything. And as a result, you question yourself. Now, actually having clear things that are slowly being put in place, with processes, allows moments of doubt to be shorter and to remain in action. And that’s great.”
“I think that Bettina, through her hindsight and cross-sectional view on the experience of several people in the same adventure, in addition to her personal experience, succeeds in seeing our needs. The ones that we are not aware of or that we do not know how to express with words. It was really good for me to know that my problems were normal in the luxury sector, because I compared myself to my colleagues who do not have the same clientele. It showed me how much I belong to this industry. I feel comfortable in it, and it’s the right one for me by creating a network of caring clients, while remaining authentic and whole, and that without being forced to conform to a code.”
“In fact, what is very good is that we come back to things that we easily forget. We all know what the basics are. I personally leave with a clear methodology and with steps that I already knew intuitively. But after a while, you regress. And regression is quite easy. It’s all a question of taking the time to get organized. Because as long as you haven’t answered the clients, the clients can’t answer for you. For me, that’s really the key. You have to do your homework. It seems difficult and we all believe that we must get the figures first. And as long as we tell ourselves that the back office doesn’t make money, if we don’t make the initial investment, the commercial part won’t work.”
